Q.  Can you explain why obtaining nutrient values per 100 grams of food product is important versus obtaining values from the Nutrition Facts Label?

 

A.  Obtaining data in 100 grams and unrounded values can present nutrient valuess that might otherwise round down to zero on a Nutrition Facts panel due to small serving sizes.

Consider spices, seasonings, sugar substitutes and other additives.
