If you are running Genesis R & D Food or The Food Processor in an app server environment you may run into a situation where you run out of activations quickly.
To prevent this from happening, there is a need to edit the .exe.config file specifically following these steps (first close all open connections to the database):
You can find the config file in path where your program is in installed, typically:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Esha Research\GenesisSQL (or foodprosql)
Look for a FoodProSQL.exe.config or GenesisSQL.exe.config
Add the following to the config file: this is XML so be attentive to spelling (of course), but also capitalization.
- Find the <esha.licensing> ... </esha.licensing> tags.
- Add the following setting within: <machineId providerType="PerDomain" />
That section should look something like this when finished:
<licenseService url="https://accounts.esha.com/licensing/Service.asmx" />
<licenseWeb url="https://accounts.esha.com" />
<idserver oauth2TokenEndpoint="https://login.esha.com/issue/oauth2/token" />
<machineId providerType="PerDomain" />
- Click Save
